This is a vintage-style toy rag doll; her name is Nancy! Nancy has a polyester fiberfill stuffed cotton muslin body. Her face is all hand embroidered, right down to her french-knot freckles! Her hair is wool blend yarn, each strand individually sewn and knotted. Her slip, skirt and blouse are all polyester/cotton blend fabrics which are machine wash and dry on cool/delicate settings. Beautiful sterling silver plated, handmade bracelet with a fused dichroic glass setting.

The setting was hand cut, layered with three layers of art glass, dichroic glass then topped with clear. The three layers are fused and fired to 1600 degrees for three hours in my home studio kiln, then slowly annealed for eight hours to make the glass durable and breakage resistant.

This is a one of a kind piece of wearable art!
